Content and Coordination Lab @ Linguistics, University of Potsdam
** Latest News from the Lab **
17/06/07 We are busy setting up a real-time capable process / module communication infrastructure, for now on top of OAA.
Welcome
Welcome to the Website of the "Content and Collaboration Lab", an Independent Research Group  led by David Schlangen at the Department of Linguistics, University of Potsdam, Germany. The group is fundedy by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation) in the Emmy Noether Programme.

We are interested in learning about dialogue, especially about how dialogue is coordinated, that is, how the acts that make up dialogue are timed (who may speak when?) and the content is designed in such a way as to maximise success. You can read more about our interests here, and more about the members of the lab here. Our publications are listed here.

Our main project is "InPro: Incrementality and Projection in Dialogue Processing" (running from 2007 -- 2010), whose aim it is to develop methods for incremental processing, using plausible modeling of turn taking as a test case. An associated project is "DEAWU: Dealing With Uncertainty" (2006/07), which has its own website here.
